Datura has been on the NY/NJ scene for the last three years as an ever present staple of the community playing at such venues as The Batcave, Alchemy (CBGB's), and Contempt Live. The band has also played a host of venues in NY as well as NJ including The Loop Lounge, Connections, Double D's Entertainment Complex, and many others.
Datura, as a three-piece entity, utilizes an abundance of electronic devices to create a palette of emotional music that is then emphasized and accentuated by live musicians. The songs are full of interesting melodies backed up by hooks that will keep the crowds singing when they leave the show. |
